Mission-ready agentic dominance, inside your boundary

Papyrus exists to give high-trust operational teams the same class of agentic capability the commercial world runs on — without sending a single byte of mission data to a public SaaS. It is a self-hosted, governed agentic harness that turns the natural language of a mission problem into structured outputs and executed workflows, entirely inside the customer's own environment. You can learn more at beaglabs.com and on the Papyrus product page.

We describe the goal plainly: agentic dominance within a mission boundary. Full-strength AI agents that operate at the tempo a mission demands, under the control of the people accountable for it, and never outside the boundary they were authorized in. SaaS-grade agents that never leave your environment.

How Papyrus keeps agents inside the boundary

That posture is not a policy setting bolted on at the end — it is how the system is built.

  • A self-contained daemon. Papyrus runs as a single customer-hosted daemon with no required public relay or discovery service. Its durable workspace lives in a local database on the customer's own infrastructure, so the whole system can be packaged into disconnected images for controlled and air-gapped environments.
  • Microsoft Entra ID authentication. Entra ID is the sole human identity and role authority. There is no local user database, no password login, and no bootstrap owner — removing an Entra assignment removes authority. Every operator maps to declared Papyrus application roles.
  • Human governance by default. Agents can observe, form claims, and propose consequential actions, but they cannot release them. Approval and execution are human actions, taken with the operator's own Entra session and re-checked server-side. An agent may propose; only a person can act.
  • Auditability that holds up. Configuration, lifecycle, and decision events are append-only and SHA-256 hash-chained, and accepted evidence stays immutable. The audit chain can be exported to independently controlled storage for external tamper evidence.
  • Custom tools and modularity. Missions differ, so Papyrus lets teams constrain agents to exactly the right context, data, and model endpoints through Skills, Tools, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Native execution is brokered through fixed, validated tools inside a kernel sandbox with outbound network denied.

Engineering teams can review the source and the published compliance artifacts — including the OSCAL component definition and CycloneDX SBOM — in the Papyrus repository and at the Papyrus trust center.

What "Awardable" means

Being assessed Awardable signifies that a solution has met the high standards required to sell to the government. The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is a digital repository of post-competition, readily Awardable solution videos, each assessed through complex scoring rubrics and competitive procedures. Papyrus was recognized among a competitive field of applicants whose solution videos demonstrated innovation, scalability, and potential impact on Department of War missions.

For Government Customers

Our five-minute Papyrus solution video is available to Government Customers on the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. Viewing requires a government login; you can create a TSM account at tradewindai.com. Through the marketplace you can contact us directly, request a demonstration, and, when ready, move toward award through your local contracting activity.
